To show that black is a better collector of solar energy than white, you can operate an experiment with some equipments.  All you have to prepare are two tin cans, black and white paint, and a room thermometer.  First of all, paint the cans--one black, one white.  After that, fill the cans with water.  Then put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours.  Finally, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare.  You can find that the temperature of the water in the black can is higher than the white one.  This experiment proves that black collects solar energy better than white.

The busiest moment-revised

As a student and athlete, I had a lot of busy moments in my school life.  Two weeks ago, I had a county race in the gym in Sin-Ying, Tainan.  Therefore, our coach demanded us to practice.  When my classmates were taking exams or studying in the morning, I had to join the track-and-field team, receiving the rigorous training on the playground.  During the competition, I was busy participating in sprint races.  The competition lasted for five days, which made me be absent.
After coming back to my school life, I was busy asking my classmates if there were tests I didn’t take or someone would inform me of something.  Not attending class, I had to take make-up exams and take notes on textbooks, such as English, Chinese, Math, and so on. I was so busy doing these that I had no time having leisure recreations.  This busiest experience enabled me to know that I should arrange my time regularly and orderly so that I wouldn't be eventually caught off my guard.

An athlete's perseverance-revised

John was one of the outstanding athletes.  He participated in many competitions which he usually came out on top in.  When he was a teenager, he joined a big race held in the gym.  He felt very nervous because the race was important for him.  When it was his turn, he stood on the playground with his heart beating quickly.  He started to run when the race began.  He soon surpassed above all his rivals and reached the finishing line.  He won first prize!
Sad to say, as soon as he arrived at the finishing point, someone knocked him down with carelessness.  John fell down and broke one of his legs.  He was sent to hospital immediately and was diagnosed that his leg must be amputated because it was injured so seriously.  After the operation, he stayed in the hospital, looking frustrated.
Despite his pain, he still insisted on attending the ceremony.  When he showed up on the stage, everyone cheered for him and respected for his courage from the bottom of their heart.  It was the most glorious and unforgettable moment in his life when he received the award belonged to him.  His perseverance and unflinching will are what we should learn.
