My name is Lei Chai-chen. I am 24 years old, graduated from National University of Tainan. I come from a very happy middle class family. I have one younger sister. My father is an operator and my mother is a homemaker. I am not the so-called spoiled child. I was taught to be independent since childhood. During my studies, I have joined the Tzu Chi Collegiate Association and participated in many activities. I really enjoyed participating in school activities. I not only made many friends, but also gained many different valuable experiences.
My favorite hobby is reading. It not only provides me with useful information, but it also gives me so much pleasure. By reading I am able to enter another world where I can travel to any period of time and to any place and forget my daily cares. I enjoy reading of many kinds like reading novels, adventure stories, travel books, and articles in magazines. To tell the truth, reading brings joys and adds more flavors to my tiring and dull school life.
I started playing the violin when I was five, my teacher taught me many technique and I would like to major in music and be a performer in the future. In my opinion, be a violinist has more and more practice; a good violinist has to be sensitive to the reactions of music score and will express it, therefore, I think to go argument knowledge is necessary to Europe, so I decide to go to Birmingham Conservatory.
Next, when I graduate from research institute would like to stay for two years after Britain returned to Taiwan or mainland China and teaching students the technique of violin. Because I want more music to more students what they can learn, so I want to get into Birmingham Conservatory learning.
